Over the winter, I had the opportunity to work with a new charter school based in Coney Island. I was hired to shoot a portrait of each student for a fundraiser. I photographed about 80 students in one day.. YES, 80. It was nuts! The director wanted to capture the students personalities which made it really fun to shoot for everyone. (When the students heard in the hallway that they didn't have to sit and smile...they were super excited.) The images were used to create a version of collection cards with the kids stats on it. Like a baseball collector cards. Listing each students favorite subjects and their interests the cards would be used to raise money for their extra curricular programs. It was a pleasure to be a part of the project.
